    Materials list

    Step one

Download the file here, upload the file to to Design space, and then press the “Make” button. If you need help learning how to upload an SVG to design space than check out this tutorial.

    Step two

In the prepare screen you will see how the pattern will cut on your mat. Using a purple sticking mat place the fabric good side down, now press “Continue” .

It’s a good idea to place some contact paper onto the mat sticky side up. This will help keep your mat clean. And use painters tape along the edge of the faux leather to hold the material in place.

    Step three

In the make page select the “Faux leather” setting, now follow the instructions on the screen. Once your fabric is loaded into your Cricut machine press the flashing C button to cut out your design.

    Step four

Now remove your shape from the cutting mat and it is now ready for gluing.

Turn the design so that the back side is facing you. And place a bit of hot glue in the center. Now glue the longer arms of the cross design onto the centre, overlapping a bit.

    Step five

Now place a small amount of hot glue on the center once more and fold the shorter arms together, meeting in the middle.

Now your bow is complete. This is a very simple design but can be very useful for creating a base design to embelish upon or place behind a second bow. There are many ways your could incorporate this simple bow into your final hair bow design.

The final dimensions when folded are 2.75″ x 2″.
