This modern style earring is easy to make. Just cut out the three layers with different color of your material of choice and layer one on top of the other, than attach an earring hook. This design can easily be made with your cutting machine. You can also mix up the colors to create different styles for all your outfits.

Step by Step

Step One

Download the free file here

Step Two

Open Cricut Design Space and click the upload button.

Step Three

Select browse to search for your file.

Step Four

Select the SVG file from your downloads file.

Step Five

Click upload

Step Six

Now you will see the files. At this point you can make them bigger or smaller or leave them as is.

Step Seven

Turn off whichever layer you are not working with by selecting the eye graphic next to the layer. Than click “Make it”

Step Eight

Select the setting appropriate for your material. I will be using faux leather paper thin and selecting more pressure.

Step Nine

I recommend cutting your fabric just to the size you need to cut out the peice. I am using transfer tape on the fabric to keep my cutting mat clean since the faux suede I’m using leaves a lot of fluff on the sticky mat. You can use heat n bond on the back to help prevent the fabric from fraying.

Step Ten

Cut out each peice out of each color fabric.

Step Eleven

Stack the peices in order.

Step Twelve

Use a jump ring to attach the peices together and also add the earring hook. Now close the jump ring.

Step Thirteen

Now your earring is complete.
