If you a health care worker or just a regular person who wants to feel protected out on your regular erands than most than likely you have been wearing a mask a lot. And this can case a lot of strain on your ears.

An easy solution is to pull the elastic bands away from your ears with some mask extenders. This pattern is so easy to make you will be make them a dozen at a time.

The mask extenders are easy to use you just snap the elastic band on each side behind your head and than your mask is comfortable to wear all day. And the pattern is so easy to use.

The pattern is designed to be made with a cutting machine such as a cricut maker. But you could easily print out the pattern, than trace them and cut them out by hand.

I use puffy vinyl that has an animal skin texture to it but you could easily replace it with glitter vinyl or any other non fraying fabric. You could also add more elements to the design by top stitching around the edge for a professional Finish. But the great thing about the vinyl leather is that it make for fast and easy projects.

There are a few different sizes to choose from, if your mask has really stretchy elastic you might prefer the smaller size. But if your mask is made with more stiff elastic than you might prefer they larger size.
